The Residences at PS186 / The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem

Monadnock is partnering with Alembic Development and the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem to renovate this historic former New York City Public School originally designed by noted architect C.B.J. Snyder. Through a mix of low-income housing tax credits, federal and state historic tax credits, NYC HPD subsidy and bank loans, Monadnock and its partners engineered the financing and ongoing careful rehabilitation of the building into 78 loft-style apartments for low and middle-income New Yorkers. The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem will open a brand new 10,000 SF facility on the first floor of the building.
