Located at 225 East 45^th Street, the new construction building will include 131 units of affordable/supportive housing, 170 shelter beds for a women’s shelter, along with an upgraded primary care clinic, and a state-of-the art commercial kitchen serving as a hub for Project Renewal’s City Beet Kitchen.  City Beet Kitchen is an award-winning, work force development program and catering company.

The projected is financed through the New York City Department of Homeless Services, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s Supportive Housing Loan Program, tax-exempt bonds by the New York City Department of Housing Development Corporation, and Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Closing on construction financing occurred in December 2023 and is currently under construction.  The marketing and lease-up process of units will begin in 2026.
