The Innovative Urban Village master plan is a proposed large-scale development of a 10.5 acre site in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn.  The project pursed a rezoning that received final approval in November 2022.  The successful rezoning is facilitating the development of a mixed-use community on the campus of the Christian Cultural Center, comprising nearly 1,975 income-based affordable housing units, a performing arts center, a grocery store, local retail, new publicly accessible open space, and a variety of community facilities targeted to the civic, economic, educational, and cultural needs of the East New York neighborhood.  The master plan is planned to be constructed over a period of 10 years.

The project is financed through the New York State Housing Finance Agency, New York State Division of Homes and Community Renewal, and New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.  The first phase, Phase 1A includes 386 units.  Closing on construction financing for the first phase occurred in March 2024 and the marketing and lease-up process of units will begin in 2026.
