As part of the New York State’s Division of Housing and Community Renewal (HCR) Vital Brooklyn Initiative, Kingsbrook Estates seeks to transform a portion of Brooklyn’s Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center into an intergenerational mixed-income community supporting some of the city’s most vulnerable residents: frail elderly persons, and military veterans with disabilities. Monadnock Development, Brooklyn Community & Housing Services, and CB-Emmanuel will develop over 300 fully affordable apartments in three buildings and a PACE Center all surrounding a common courtyard and community farm.
